An Applause For A Strike For Freedom Of The Press

Hungary seems to have trouble with the idea of freedom of the press as a socialist/liberal council shuts down the media because it is biased. I mention this because we have had too many attempts by radical liberals in the United States to do the same thing with speech they disagree with. Here is a commentary by a fairly liberal individual who is swinging right and is about the episodes where liberal object to Ann Coulter’s free speech. I could point to radical liberals who vandalize pro life displays on a regular basis.

Conservatives may also do the same thing and if they do they are no more right than the liberals who do it. I find the hate America speech preached by some Americans to be a crime akin to treason and yet I am forced to tolerate because I do not want anyone defining what is “hate” speech and what is not. I am hoping that most American will reject such speech. Liberals are too prone to outlaw speech and expression they find harmful while backing speech that is proved to be harmful such as pornography.

I must applaud the Mayor’s solution of employing town criers to bring the news to the people of his community and I hope is protest will be effective.
